Psychology
Mental health and behaviour support, properly delivered.
Psychology and Positive Behaviour Support work best when they begin with the same question:
what is really going on for this person?
Neta Care provides evidence-based therapy and NDIS-registered Behaviour Support for
individuals, families, children, adolescents, and adults. Our clinicians support mental health,
trauma, psychosocial recovery, emotional regulation, behaviours of concern, and the
systems around a person’s everyday life.
One service pathway. Two connected supports.
Mental health and behaviour often affect each other. Our psychologists and Behaviour Support Practitioners work with the person, their family, carers, support coordinators, teachers, and support teams to understand their needs and build practical strategies that improve quality of life.
What's Included
Support for the person, not just the presentation.
We look beyond symptoms or behaviours and focus on the person’s full experience.
Our team can support people experiencing:
• Anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, and major life transitions
• Psychosocial disability and recovery needs
• Emotional regulation challenges
• Behaviours of concern
• Family stress or relationship strain
• Communication, sensory, medical, environmental, or social factors that may influence behaviour
• Restrictive practices that need to be reduced or eliminated over time
• Support team challenges where carers, family members, or workers need practical guidance
Therapy may be short-term or longer-term depending on the person’s goals, needs, and circumstances.
