Our group services run across social, life skills, wellbeing and capacity-building areas —
for adults, young people and older Australians.
Why Groups Work
The case for group programs.
Group programs offer something that one-to-one supports can't replicate: practice with other people. Social skills are learnt with other people. Confidence is built in the presence of peers. New routines stick when a small group of trusted regulars keeps showing up.
Groups also stretch funding further. A morning at a Neta Care group can deliver real therapeutic and social value at a lower hourly cost than the equivalent in 1:1 support.
Our Group Streams
Four types of group.
Social & community participation
Coffee groups, outings, hobby groups, intergenerational programs. NDIS Core or aged care Social Support funded.
Life skills & capacity building
Cooking, budgeting, public transport, household management, digital literacy. NDIS Capacity Building.
Wellbeing & fitness
Gentle exercise, hydrotherapy, falls prevention, mindfulness. Allied health and Capacity Building.
Therapy groups
Social skills, speech, anxiety management groups. Clinician-led, evidence-based.
How They're Run
Our group design principles.
