TRansport
Getting where you need to go.
Transport is the thing that turns a plan into a life. We provide transport for people with disability including travel to appointments, the shops, community activities, social events, and anywhere else you need to be.
what we do
Disability Transport that comes with support.
Our disability transport service is more than a ride. A Neta Care support professional collects you from home, accompanies you to the destination, supports you while you're there if needed, and brings you home. The same person each time, wherever possible.
For people who can't drive, can't catch public transport easily, or need a steady presence in unfamiliar settings, it changes what is possible in a week.
Funding
How transport is funded.
NDIS. Two ways: Core Supports — Disability Transport allocation (a fixed annual amount on your plan), or as part of Assistance with Social and Community Participation (where the support professional drives you as part of the supported activity).
Aged Care. Support at home can fund transport; CHSP funds dedicated Transport service.
DVA. Limited transport supports for Gold and White Card holders.
Bookings
How to book.
Standing transport (the same trip each week) is easiest to plan around. Ad-hoc trips are also fine — give us as much notice as you can, ideally 48 hours, more for medical appointments.
Emergency transport is not what we do; for emergencies call 000 or Queensland Ambulance.
